The New Palace (Neues Schloss) in Stuttgart was begun in 1746 as a representative baroque residential palace for Duke Carl Eugen von Württemberg. After years of construction with repeated interruptions, the Palace was completed until 1806 among King Friedrich I. Because of the Second World War the residence had serious damages. Only great parts of the outer walls have been remained. It has been used rebuilt for the Ministerial Administration of Baden-Württemberg. The reconstructed Parade Rooms in the main building could be visited within special guidances. Furthermore in the White Hall concerts, speeches and conferences take place.
